We are pleased to report that our recent Kyu grading was a great success! The event was exceptional, and all students demonstrated dedication, discipline, and strong spirit.
A special highlight of the grading was the promotion of Thabo Winston Nkosi from South Africa, who successfully obtained his 1st Dan Black Belt. His journey with us began in 2018, and after years of perseverance and commitment, he has now reached this important milestone. He graded under the leadership of our Africa Chairman Hanshi Simon Matjiane, with assistance from Senpai Andrew Nkosi.
In total, 40 students from 10th kyu to 5th kyu participated in the grading, which was held at Honbu Dojo in Pretoria, Soshanguve. Their performances were commendable, and we are proud of their progress.
We extend our gratitude to God for His guidance and protection, ensuring a safe event with no serious injuries.
Domo Arigato Gozaimashita!
Kind regards,
The Africa Soshinkan
Osu!
